Inle Heritage Stilt Houses: "A real highlight of our trip"
"What they are doing at the Inle Heritage should be used as an example for the rest of Myanmar and for other hotels in emerging markets. Service was fantastic, at first we felt a little overwhelmed with all of the greetings and personal care from the staff.. given that there are 4 times as many staff as guests you may understand why it may feel like this, but after a short while we realised that they are all genuinely lovely, friendly staff that are eager to please and interact with you.. We embraced it. We visited during a very heavy storm and a very large piece of bamboo was hitting against the side of our room, we only mentioned it briefly to a junior member of staff on the way to breakfast and by the time we returned from our day trip it had been cut back.. A huge bamboo tree that would need some serious work.. We were extremely impressed with the effort. Food was excellent and the setting beautiful. Thanks Inle Heritage and keep up your efforts! Stayed January 2016, traveled as a couple"The Island Lodge: "Excellent Hotel perfect for relaxation"
"This gem is located within Mekong delta and offers piece and quiet, beautiful ambiente and very helpful and friendly staff. There are a few rooms which ensure no mass tourism. Slow food and tranquility, perfect hospitality and harmony are the keywords. We stayed there for 3 days and enjoyed a pre-paradise experience. Especially the spa with different types of massages is a soul-supporting experience. The rooms are clean with the option to use an airconditioning. The bathroom and shower is clean and showing lots of litte details which sum up to a very special hotel. At every step one finds another detail which makes this hotel a personal little home. We felt at home instantly and will return as soon as possible. For our little lady of the age of 9 it was a paradise. The pool is clean (which we did not spot everywhere in even more expensive hotels in South East Asia). The Coconut Smoothie became her favourite drink. :-) We enjoyed boat cruises and a visit at the next town's pagoda with impressive statues. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful - even by Asian standards. The transfer from HCMC to the hotel gave us a good possibilty for a first insight to people and country. We recommend this gem for everyone who seeks piece and quiet in a very special atmosphere within a safe and clean environment. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Island Lodge."Amata Lanna: "Great place to stay"
the amata Lanna is a lovely boutique hotel with twelve beautifully furnished Lanna Thai rooms around a pool and courtyard. The location is close to the Ping river entertainment district, the Loi Kroh road and the night market. The staff are friendly and helpful and even delivered birthday cake to my room - unbidden - as they had noted the date on my passport when I checked in. Would definitely stay there again.Locavore: "Amazing service and the Highlight of our trip to Bali"
"Right before our trip to Bali, we looked up the best restaurants in Asia and found Locavore, without knowing what to expect. Well, it was better than what we expected. The service, the staff and the chef's team paid attention to every single little details of our experience and our food. We sat up front by the ""pass"" and had the view of how hard the chefs and the team worked on each of our dishes. We received 6 extra appetizers before our main meals, which the chef explained to us that he wanted his guests to get something that they did not even expect. We were so happy with our experience in Locavore. We hope the restaurant will continue to grow and create. We also look forward to coming back in the near future to taste something new, creative and exciting."4 Rivers Floating Lodge: "A night to remember <3 <3 <3"
"I stayed at 4 rivers three weeks ago but I can still remember how amazing the place is. It was a long drive but when you reached the 4th bridge which the reception is located you will be amazed by the surroundings . I'm typically not a nature lover but when the boat started to pass by the river surrounded by mountains it took my breath away :D When I arrived at the resort the staff and crew gave me a very warm welcome . The resort facilities are outstanding .You’ll get the chance to use the kayak and fishing rod for free. also love the library which has a good collection of books and even board games for kids and kids at heart . The manager (Adonis) is so approachable and very kind not only to the guest but also to his staff. 4 RIVERS is the PERFECT PLACE to unwind and be with nature :D Looking forward on coming back there sooonnnnnnn!!! :D"Amata Lanna: "Lovely spot, close enough to the centre but away from the chaos of some other locations"
We had a lovely stay at the Amata Lanna with our family (three young children and three adults). The team at the hotel were so helpful with sorting out ideas for visits and incredibly patient with our children. the rooms were lovely and the breakfast was just right. A really great spot.Villa Song Saigon: "A wonderful boutique hotel"
"Villa Song was the first stop on our recent SE Asian odyssey and it did not disappoint! We arrived after the best part of a day's travelling so were quite tired and ready to relax and chill. The reception staff were great and got us booked in very quickly (lovely watermelon juice as well) and off we went to our room. Beautiful view over the terrace, restaurant and Saigon River, the balcony was fairly small but there was room for 2 chairs and a table so that's really all that's needed. There was plenty of storage, a very nice bathroom including many extra accessories such as a sewing kit, cotton buds, wipes etc and the queen sized beds were extremely comfortable. We repaired to the beautiful poolside where we were able to recharge our batteries and partake of the gorgeous cocktails (Happy hour was 5 - 7 pm with 2 for 1 on cocktails and various other drinks). The breakfasts were awesome! Fruit platter to start and the menu had 15+ items on it from English breakfasts to Continental to Pancakes to Vietnamese specialities - you could have as many dishes as you wanted, plus you didn't actually have to have it at breakfast time (although we did). Being in district 2, Villa Song is a little way off the beaten track, however there was a complimentary river shuttle from the hotel to downtown which ran several times a day and which we utilised on our free day so that we could spend the entire day downtown - I recommend taking the shuttle, much more interesting than a taxi. Lastly I must give a huge shout out to the staff at Villa Song - nothing too much trouble, always smiling, checking we had enough coffee/tea/beer/cocktails/juice...I think with the hotel only having 20 or so rooms it has a real family feel to it. I would highly recommend Villa Song to anyone Stayed February 2017, traveled with friends"Les Maisons Wat Kor: "Great Customer Service"
I stayed with my wife and travelled with another couple who also stayed at Maison Wat Kor. We were very impressed with their attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and its surrounds. The lush garden created a sense of relaxation and was well maintained. Staff were very attentive and pleasant.Rice & Zen Boutique Resort: "Relaxing get-away"
Rice and Zen is set in the most gorgeous location, amidst the paddies and lush landscape. Michael is a very attentive, yet discreet host and we had a lovely time exploring the local area and restaurants on the bikes/scooter provided. The pool is gorgeous and perfect for lazing away an afternoon or morning; the villa accommodation is well appointed and slept our family of 4 (kids aged 4 and 6) very comfortably. Many thanks!Reverie Siam: "Excellent choice for a couple"
"This place is gorgeous A hodgepodge of vintage furniture adorns the restaurant (which acts as the focal point of the resort) The menu is incredible - and very reasonably priced We had a second-floor mountain view room (there's only two levels) The room was enormous, so was the bathroom (complete with bathtub), and our private terrace looked out across fields toward the mountain with white Buddha. There's two cute swimming pools nestled amongst foliage Super friendly and attentive staff Free tuk tuk into town about 5 mins away"
