Rachamankha: "Beautiful Hotel"
I loved the hotel. The hotel was in a great location. If you arrive over the weekend, there is a Sunday night market within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the room was nice and cool upon arrival. Staff was friendly and the morning buffet delicious!Tugu Lombok: "Awesome"
Lombok is a fantastic mix of warm people, wondrous scenery and amazing sea life. Stay at the Tugu and you can add fabulous staff and service with a wonderfully quirky resort. A great destination complimented by a resort that exceeds expectations highly recommended for all types of activities.Locavore: "Perfection!"
"Had the 7 Course tasting menu and it was incredible. The atmosphere and service was friendly and attentive. Even before the first course came in we were served seven or eight amuse bouche, all gorgeous in look and taste. We had the drink pairing wich is a stroke of genius when you compare to the traditional wine pairing. The whole menu was exciting from start to finish and I dare say it was amongst the best dining excperiences I've ever had. Unfortunately I live on the other side of the world, otherwise I would be back again soon."Sea Dance Resort: "Glad to be back"
It's always a pleasure to be back.Friendly & helpfull team, great & peacefull surrunding.U can even go out and check on the Fisherman village or stay and listen some life jazz music in the resort. It's my paradise 'bubble'.Only 1regret,I never stay long enough...The Twelve Hotel: "Nice quiet hotel with reception at the top"
A nice hotel located in a quiet residential area of Bangkok. Few rooms (ten, only 6 were open during our visit), junior nice very spacious and bright with views of the pool. The reception is great, either by the owners or other employees, plus help organize our daily outings: tuktuk reservation, restaurant recommendations. Very good breakfast. The hotel is located a bit far to walk to public transport (and almost no sidewalk lend itself to long walks especially in our case with a small child), but some supermarkets and restot good practices within 10 min, and 40 baht (€ 1) a tuktuk takes you to the nearest BTS station or water taxi. We would definitely return if we have the chance to return!MesaStila: "Best Start to 2017"
"MesaStila really IS a wonderful place to stay in. My husband and I came for a short 2 nights 3 days break on the Escapism package and it was just heavenly. We live in Jakarta and coming here for a break from the city was just magical. A quick flight to Semarang from the new terminal 3 and we were met by the MesaStila car and driver at the airport. We were soon at the Resort and what a change from what we had left in in Jakarta. The air is clean, the scenery beautiful (constantly changing landscape on the days we were there with blue sky and white clouds, sometimes early mist, a brief lightning storm) and the grounds of the resort are so peaceful. We felt close to nature and yet pampered by the staff and the facilities. The Spa treatments were the best we have ever had and the attention to detail to the decor and the therapy rooms ensures a thoroughly relaxing experience. We stayed in room 204 which was a quaint villa. Styled perfectly, with a fourposter bed, plenty of seating options, a verandah to relax outside with a book, stained glass windows, old fashioned bathroom yet all the modern needs you would expect in a hotel room. We ate all our meals at MesaStila and the selection is amazing. The food was fresh, presented beautifully and so tasty. The quality was 5 star! We even managed to squeeze in a sunrise tour to Borobudur arranged by the staff. There is a long list of options of tours you can take which the reception staff will arrange for you. Thank you to the staff and management for ensuring we had a great mini vacation. We will be planning a return trip before the end of the year. Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"Manda De Laos: "Chilled with good food"
Went last night for dinner. Arrived without reservation and got a pool side table. Staff friendly and responsive. Wine good and food excellent. I had steam fish with dill which was tasty. Overall a pleasant experience for first night hereGlenburn Tea Estate: "An oasis in beautiful landscape"
"We stayed 4 nights here and felt this was just about right. 2 nights is just not enough for the journey in and out which is yes long and yes bumpy.. but it is an adventure.. and to be honest after reading about the road I was slightly worried. In our opinion it is not as bad as its made out to be. If you want to get away from it all and off the beaten track you have to put in some effort. Will, Faye and the team were great with exceptional levels of service given at every moment. If you like the ski chalet concept you will love Glenburn. This is a ski chalet in the foothills of the Himalayas. There is a wide variety of activity and plenty of time just to relax if you want to. One tip take good walking shoes to really enjoy the treks available. Rooms are big, unique and lovely. You could put on pounds if you ate all the food. There was plenty of it and at all times of the day. Bed tea in the mornings was a real treat. WiFi was weak but leave it behind and put it away is our best advice. We did and were so refreshed by doing so. All in all a really lovely place to stay."Cheong Fatt Tze – Blue Mansion: "How big, how blue, how beautiful"
"It was a really special experience to stay at this restored turn-of-the-previous-century mansion. There's not a lot more to write about its significance as a building, or the amazing history within its walls that other reviewers have not mentioned, so I'll concentrate on the rooms. Not only is the building an exquisite example of heritage conservation at its finest, the boutique hotel they've managed to operate in this amazing building is tasteful and thoughtfully executed. Comfortable but traditionally designed, the rooms are a true oasis after a day of walking around George Town. Breakfast service was prompt and friendly. The food, while actually not as exciting as the true street fare Penang is famous for, was top quality. Lovely staff, one helped me out big time by lending me a wifi dongle they had for the duration of my stay. I stayed at CFZ Mansion for two nights and I hope that the next time I return, I will be able to stay longer . Stayed December 2016, traveled solo"Maison Polanka: "An oasis of peace and calm"
"We stayed in the Yellow Room for 3 nights in late January and left totally enchanted by the place. As others have said, it is an oasis of peace and calm set in a lush, well-tended tropical garden (with its resident pet rabbit and dog!). We didn't feel like hotel guests; more like special guests in a private home. Their attention to detail and many thoughtful courtesies are exemplary. In our view, Maison Polanka's greatest asset is it staff. Francis, Cathy, Sopharan, Nian etc. are so welcoming, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them. And everything done with such warm, lovely smiles! Stayed January 2017, traveled as a couple"
