FLOWER ISLAND: "Little island of paradise"
"We stayed three nights in Flower Island in March 2015. We really enjoyed, the staff was very friendly and committed to make your stay like a being in paradise. The snorkeling experience was amazing, best we had in Palawan! Just few meters from our room, with all equipments available for free at the hotel! Nice breakfast with fresh mango every day! Dinner food could have been better, but ok! "Les Maisons d’Itac: "A peaceful place"
"A good place to stay with friends or a family. I lived in the house for 6-8 guests. Rooms are airy. A peaceful and very quiet hotel for a relaxing vacation. Nice food, wide list of beverages. Comfortable bed. Private water pool, CCTV cameras. There are no TV, hair dryer. WI-FI is slowly. I would be happy to live there again! Stayed March 2017, traveled with family"Locavore: "Simply amazing"
Off to Locavore with a friend who. Had been twice before ,no clues given but just told it would be stunning ......Well how fantastic is this restaurant....OMG ...have eaten at Sepia in Sydney and Vue de Monde in Melbourne....Need I say any more ,but I will ......From the moment you arrive till you leave its a fantastic theatre.of food ,presented in the most artistic way .every dish seems to arrive with great flourish and a chef to explain what your about to taste ........I Don't know if the food is created for each plate ,jug, bowl, etc or they are created for the food ,But such a amazing collection I'd like to take each piece home with me ....Won't talk about the food or the wines as I feel you have to experience it for yourself.....To finish ,Great attentive team members, fantastic food ,casual relaxed decor..So next time your in Ubud it's a must ...So good going back on Saturday !!!!!! Does that tell you all .Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Best Meal – Must Eat Here"
"Spectacular experience! Food, setting, service - all were perfect. The chef really draws on Cambodian flavors and seasonal fruit and vegetables, and combines them in an impeccably thought-out menu. The fish and seafood dishes were particularly delicious - although we loved everything we ate. You could easily pay three or four times the price for this standard of menu in the US. I cannot recommend Cuisine Wat Damnak highly enough. They were very accommodating of my pescatarian diet. And it was such a charming and relaxed dining experience. Ps. Opt for the fan seating rather than the A/C as the fan seating is in the more charming upstairs of the restaurant. Make reservations at least a few weeks in advance. I would also recommend the tamarind collins if you would like a cocktail with dinner."Hotel Tugu Bali: "Excellence in Canggu!"
We stayed at Hotel Tugu for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the accom, great food and best of all the outstanding service by the friendly staff! The room, grounds and location so perfect with easy access to the beach and shops nearby. We recommend the hotel to anyone wanting exclusive service and privacy supported by flexible and courteous staff who are always on hand to make your stay a memorable one. 5 stars!! Thank you Ari to you and your staff who made our stay in Canggu unforgettable!!Inle Princess Resort: "Wish we could have stayed longer"
The leg rowers skillfully guide your long boat into the dock and you are then transported to serene peaceful surroundings. We were welcomed by the local Burmese cats in the lobby. Magnificent creatures and very friendly. Our mountain view room was everything you could want, right down to the free mini bar. The property is gorgeous, the meals in the restaurant are delicious. Unique breakfast additions on the complimentary buffet. We sat on the decking gazing over the water and watched the sunset which was beautiful. Our next day we indulged in massages by two skillful young ladies which were heaven. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone. The only regret we had was not being able to stay a couple more days to really relax and enjoy it.Satri House: "Hotel with history and great attention to details"
"We chose this hotel because of its history, it was the childhood home of the youngest prince of Laos. A good and safe 10-15min walk to riverside and restaurants and bars. Wifi was really good throughout the whole hotel. Gianni the new manager was always around the hotel grounds if you needed any help. Staff here are really helpful; one even helped me mark out some restaurant on the map that we wanted to try. Hotel should try to get a better map done vs using an internet print out. All the staff spoke fairly good English, no issues communicating just speak in simple English and not too fast. 3 staff members stood out for us;Daoluck,Thongdeuan and Chanhtalay Breakfast was made to order no crappy buffet food here.. Homemade jams that came with their toast/croissants were lovely, my fav was the tomato jam. However, their breakfast options could have been a little more flexible. Received a small snack everyday ard 2-4pm. Plenty of bottled water provided. Comfortable beds. 2 different turn down service; one in the morning/early afternoon to make the bed and tidying up and one in the evening to prepare the room for sleeping; mosquito net and even the way they fold the duvet during the evening turn down service is different for the morning service to make it easier for you to climb into bed. Top sheets available on bed(so your body doesn't come in contact with the duvet), not many 4-5star hotels practice this anymore. No ugly mosquito nets here, they have a linen mosquito canopy. Though not necessary, it would have been nice to have plush bedroom slippers as an added luxury that would help make the old wooden floors less slippery. We stayed in a deluxe room, old wooden floors creak a bit so try to get a room on the 2nd floor. No tv in the room unless requested(this definitely helps maintain the old world charm. Vintage pieces all around the hotel, there is so much history! Keep up the great work Satri House! You exceeded expectations! Room Tip: Rooms on 2nd floor away from roads"Reverie Siam: "Beautiful, peaceful resort"
"We had a lovely stay at the Reverie. The grounds are as beautiful as they look on the website. You could be mistaken for thinking you were in Europe. The rooms are palatial, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom was luxurious. It was great having such a good quality restaurant at the resort. We enjoyed having a wine and cheese and meat board by the river during the day, cocktails and tapas at night and the delicious breakfasts in the morning. The only downsides were: - It seems to cater to tour groups, which made it a bit less peaceful -the wifi is not super strong but still pretty good -the pool was so cold! -if you are into minimalist decor, this place is not for you - a final minor point - some members of the tour group left their underwear to dry outside their rooms either on the pathway or on the balconies. I would recommend management ask people to dry clothes in their room to maintain the sophisticated image the hotel has worked hard to achieve. Overall this hotel is great value and made for a very luxurious, restful stop in Pai."Sea Dance Resort: "Chill out in the pool"
After sailing around Samui the whole week we need to chill-out at a special location. The Sea Dance Resort allow residents to use the pool during our stay. My wife enjoyed a deep thai massage and my son and me had a healthy lunch and some drinks at the pool bar. Great afternoon.Reverie Siam: "A wonderful escape"
We stayed 2 nights in the family villa and absolutely loved it. The thought and style put into the room was obvious from the cool little pieces or art to the location of plenty of power points and towel racks. Staff was fantastic and the included breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Also the little things, like a cell phone for our use while in town and the free shuttle service from the property to town were greatly appreciated and showed us a new level of customer service. We stayed during low season so the rate was very reasonable, if you can afford it, the value for money here is as good as I've ever had!
